Principle photography of Mimesis: A Symphony of Horror may have just wrapped, but the film has already begun to be covered by media sources. Niall Browne of MoviesInFocus.com, who gave a positive review to the first Mimesis, wrote an article showcasing behind the scenes production photos of the Mimesis 2, now subtitled A Symphony of Horror. Douglas Schulze, directing instructor and co-founder of Motion Picture Institute, returns to direct A Symphony of Horror and based the film on FW Murnau's horror classic Nosferatu (1922). The production utilized many alumni of Motion Picture Institute's film program in various crew positions on the set. Additionally, two graduates of the acting program were cast in starring roles in the film. Julie Kline, a 2015 graduate of the acting program, was cast as the anti-hero lead, and Jordan Campo who graduated in 2016 was cast in a supporting role. The film is expected to be released and find distribution later this year.
