MPI DOUBLE FEATURE: Open House & Acting Workshop - Doublebill

MPI Double Feature:
OPEN HOUSE & ACTING WORKSHOP

For this month's Open House event, we will combine our usual tour of our facilities with something special for people interested in each of our programs.

We begin the morning with a Filmmaking Demonstration on the MPI Soundstage. This gives you a chance to see MPI graduates in action. We may even allow a few volunteers to get a little hands-on experience on our set.

After a brief intermission, we will continue our Special Double Feature with a short Acting Seminar & Workshop. This is geared toward beginning actors with little to no experience, and considering MPI's Acting Program to take them to the next level.

*This is our last Open House before the close of our
30-30-30 Tuition Rebate Program.
Attend and kick of your chance to save up to $1,000 off tuition.

Acting Seminar & Workshop

Program Begins: 11:30 AM

MPI DOUBLE FEATURE: Open House & Acting Workshop - Day_in_life_Act

If you have ever asked yourself if acting was something you could or should do, or wondered where you might begin, then this session is geared toward you.

In this short but interactive presentation, we will discuss a brief history of modern acting techniques, the purpose and role of the actor in society, and the kind of performance that is expected of a film actor.

Volunteer participants will perform a brief scene and receive adjustments from the instructor as a demonstration of acting technique.

The program will close with Q&A, and a discussion of how MPI's Acting Program will help you on your career path.
