High School Scholarships

MPI offers up to ten partial merit scholarships for high school seniors taking film/video production classes or having a portfolio or film/video/animation work.

Standard Tuition Payment Schedule

 
Tuition for the Motion Picture Production Program is $10,995 for US & Canadian students and $12,495 for international students.  A one thousand hundred dollar ($1,000) security deposit -- which is included in the tuition -- is due upon the signing of the enrollment agreement.  This deposit secures the student's seat in the program.

In-House Payment Plan Options


MPI offers up to 20 month tuition payment plans for in-state and 12 month plans for out of state to help students finance their education. For application information, please contact our Enrollment Advisor Rachael Adams at: 248-528-1760, or

Once approved we will work with you to structure a monthly plan that best fits your budget.  Applicants with low credit ratings will be required to have a co-signor.  All payment plans require at least a $3,500 down payment which is due prior to the start of the fall semester (deposit is included).  All payments are subject to finance charges.


State & Local Scholarships

 
MPI is an approved school under the Michigan Merit scholarship program for high school seniors. 
 
We also award $1,000 scholarships to the winners of the annual Orchard Lake Film Festival sponsored by West Bloomfield High School and the DAFT Film Festival.
 
 

Michigan Works-   Trade and No Worker Left BehindFunding

 
MPI is an eligible training vendor for Michigan Works. For more information on accessing TAA/ITA funds, visit your nearest Michigan Works service center.
 
 

FAFSA


MPI is not eligible for Title IV funding or Federal student aid from the US Department of Education. As a result, we do not have a school code for the FAFSA.
 

GI Bill/Department of Veteran Affairs

 
We are recognized by the Department of Veteran Affairs and are eligible to accept GI Bill funding.
