Pursue A Career In Acting and Filmmaking

Our one of a kind program was designed to give students all of the necessary skills to become a filmmaker. Our hands-on curriculum has students writing, producing, directing, and editing numerous film projects throughout the year. Leveraging their hands on experience, student are better prepared to make informative decisions on where to specialize their filmmaking careers.

Performing Arts School Daily Life

Every student goes through the entire filmmaking process from script to screen where they write, produce, direct, shoot and edit numerous film projects throughout the school year.

Each course builds on their ideas. Each assignment crafts their visions into real films. Coming to class is like going to work. But work that the student is passionate about. Learning the entire process encourages each student to explore their film interests so they may find their creative voice and develop talent in their chosen area of expertise.

Every semester each student works on each other's films in a variety of crew positions.

This practical experience gives them the opportunity to improve their skills in camera, lighting, audio and other production trades. At the end, they will have compiled enough content to produce a valuable reel of their work.

Frequently Asked Questions about our Performing Arts School Services

Q: Do graduates have access to school equipment?

A: YES! Graduates who have earned their certificate in The Motion Picture Production Program and are in good standing with the school can access equipment for graduate projects. Projects must be directed by Motion Picture Institute grads or must be for a cinematographer's reel. There is a simple $25.00 fee per project. Some equipment requires daily rental rates.
