Student record audio for their student film projects using professional field DAT recorders, mixers, shotgun microphones, boompoles, blimps and an assortment of headphones and cables. All equipment comes in portable cases and tubs ready for field use.

For the HV20 HDV camera system MPI has the Beachtek audio adapter with phantom power and XLR inputs for using shotgun micrphones. For other HD cameras such as the EX1 or the HVX200 students have the option to use either the field DAT recorders or inputting directly in the camera via field mixers.
